Record Prize money and more news for 2025!

TTSTAR SERIES presents major new products for 2025. The most significant change is the increase in the main prize pool for the 2025 Grand Final to a historic CZK 1,010,000 (approx. EUR 40,100)., marking another milestone in the development of this prestigious series. This increase in Prize money confirms the growing importance of the TTSTAR SERIES in European table tennis.

The 2025 season will feature a total of 287 tournaments plus the GRAND FINAL, the largest calendar in the series' history to date. At the same time, the organizers have prepared two specialized mini-series focused on the systematic development of young talents. The first one, Czech Young, will offer 12 tournaments designed exclusively for promising and young Czech players. These tournaments will be strategically placed throughout the year to provide young players with optimal opportunities for their sporting growth while interfering as little as possible with national team and club commitments.

Second series, International Young, will feature 22 tournaments for international young talent, and at least 1 Czech player will be allowed to participate in each tournament. This format will allow domestic talents to confront international competition and contribute to their game development. The winners of both mini-series will receive a significant prize of 100 000 CZKwhich underlines the importance of these new formats.

The entry fee for the Czech Young series has also been adjusted - it has been increased from the current CZK 1,500 to CZK 3,000, reflecting the organisers' and sponsors' efforts to support the young generation of Czech table tennis players.

These changes build on an extremely successful 2024 season, when the TTSTAR GRAND FINAL broadcast live for the first time ever on TV screens via Sporty TV. The high quality TV coverage with professional commentary contributed significantly to the promotion of the series and table tennis as a whole.

The expanded series format and increased prizes further strengthen TTSTAR SERIES' position as one of the most important ping pong events in Europe. The series regularly attracts top players from the Czech Republic, Europe and other continents, which confirms its international prestige.

The new mini-series system creates a structured pathway for the development of young players, while the main series continues to offer top-class conditions for professional table tennis players. TTSTAR SERIES thus enters 2025 with a comprehensive programme supporting a wide range of professional levels of the sport and a clear vision for further development.
